I think saying subs are the only type left is a little restrictive. In addition, even with all the ships in the game, there is still only about 5% of all the ships in WW1/WW2 modelled including MANY national fleets that so far haven't even been started on (real ones not paper). Anyone else catch the 0.10.10 announcement where it said that submarines will no longer be able to detect ships beyond 2km at operational depth Im wondering how they think submarines are supposed to operate at operational depth when they can only see ships within the dead zone of their only weap. Downvote spam on the poor user that asked a question. Whenever Submarines are mentioned, all we see is low-effort salt and toxicity. Submarines might not even be the last class added. (Frigates don't exist in game but were a mainstay)Īuxiliaries (rather than having arms race, have a support class that can repair or do other things, could be huge in Clan Wars). They will eventually make changes to the game on the level of adding a new class. (Might even be a whole new class)Įscort Ships. Proper Battlecruisers rather than BB's set up as a cruiser. Monitors (Dodgy but could be scenario ships) Mine Warfare ships (would LOVE to see HMS Manxman as a minelaying cruiser with her 40 knot speed in game, the ship that did the malta run in less than 12 parsecs) I think theres more classes that could be added yet. WG is definitely looking at submarines because they're the last untouched ship type that could be added in to the game for longevity purposes.
